IAB Christmas Day🎄
Today we celebrated our IAB Christmas Day. Our PYP students broke piñatas and got to see Santa, and our MYP students had activities in which they could interact with their grade level peers. It was a day full of fun and Christmas spirit! We were so glad to see our students smiling, and enjoying this moment!
Christmas Baskets Delivery🎄
As part of the 8th grade community service project, students gathered donations made by families for the school’s maintenance and janitorial staff. This week, students from all sections delivered the baskets along with thank-you cards they had prepared for the staff. It was a very touching moment where the service they provide was recognized by the young ones. We are grateful for the contributions from families and the efforts of the 8th grade students and their coordinator, Miss Mine Franco. Proudly Lynxes!
Open Academy Classes⚽️ 🎭
Congratulations to the students who attended the Academies Open Classes. We loved seeing the skills you have developed, your interests and willingness to learn.
We also want to express our gratitude to our Academy teachers for their effort and dedication, as well as Teacher Daniel Bell, Sports Academies Coordinator, and Teacher Neri Vázquez, Formative Academies Coordinator, for their organization and guidance to teachers, students and parents.

Sex-Ed Talks📚
Thank you, 4th to 9th grade parents and students, for your participation in these workshops. With these learning opportunities, we seek to guide students and provide them with tools to understand themselves better. We thank Urdiain Asesores for their insights and their time, as well as we appreciate parents’ attendance and reflection, that help us create an environment for our students that promotes self-confidence and self-awareness.

IAB Mexican Day🇲🇽
Today our students dressed up with rich accessories and in traditional attire to celebrate our IAB Mexican Day. With a fun parade and wonderful clothes, our school community made it a lively and colorful event. We appreciate all members of the IAB community for joining in the celebration!
CODED Orlando 2024🪐
The MYP students who took part in the CODED educational experience in Orlando, Florida had an amazing opportunity to learn about STEAM and Coding in an exciting setting: Disney and Universal Studios parks, and the NASA Kennedy Space Center. Students participated in competitions in which they showed their skills and talents. Congratulations, students, for all your hard work and achievements.
We also want to thank the teachers who joined them in this great adventure: Miss Ale Pedroza, Teacher Humberto Reyes and Teacher Daniel Bell. Thank you for your care and attention, in making sure students enjoyed the experience and for encouraging them to acquire not only new skills, but new approaches to the way they learn.
Cultural Week 2024: Workshops🌎
This past week, we celebrated and reflected about diversity through workshops and shows for students during our Cultural Week 2024. The community had the opportunity to see and feel how different cultures experience life, leaving them with new perspectives and wonderful memories.
Cultural Week 2024: Presentations for Parents 🌎
Last week, all the school parents joined the students to the performances by group during the Cultural Week 2024. The students shared their learnings, reflections and inquiries through the week, presenting the countries they researched. Thank you, teachers, for all the effort you put into guiding your students and leading their learning paths. Your passion for teaching can be seen through the achievements of your students, and we appreciate all you do for them.
Today, the IAB Community celebrated our Costume Day! With fantastic and creative costumes, the day was filled with fun memories.

Day of the Dead Altar
This year, the 9th-grade students in charge of the IAB Day of the Dead Altar chose to honor Pedro Linares, the creator of alebrijes, as their inspiration. We are proud of the skills demonstrated by our 9th-grade students. Congratulations to the students and teachers leading the project for their creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm, inspiring the entire community to strive and give our best, just as you did!

Thank you students and staff for participating today in our IAB UN Day! It was a fun day in which we valued and celebrated cultural diversity!
Our 30th Anniversary celebration was truly unforgettable, filled with moments that touched our hearts and reminded us of the journey we've shared. Thank you to everyone—students, parents, alumni, teachers, staff, and community members—who gathered with us to honor this milestone.
From joyful workshops to inspiring talks, every moment was a beautiful reminder of how much we've grown together. We are deeply grateful for the love and support that has shaped the IAB community over the years. In commemoration of the International Peace Day, we reflected on the importance of dialogue, harmony and understanding between people and nations. Thank you, students and staff, for showing how caring and knowledgeable you are!
We are proud to announce that our student, Marian Michel Monsivais, has been awarded the Excellence Scholarship from our school, a recognition given to the student with the highest GPA in 6th grade. Marian's achievements not only stand out in this last school year but have been consistent throughout her time at our school, reflecting her dedication, effort, and love for learning. MYP School for Parents🌱
Last Thursday, September 12th, we started our series of conferences dedicated to mental health, aimed at providing you with essential knowledge to support your children's emotional and psychological wellbeing. The talk was given by Humind, an association specializing in mental health with extensive experience in the field. We believe that the information shared will be very useful and will help strengthen the emotional support you provide to your families. Thank you for being part of the team!
